Questions

Common questions.

How do I pay my premium?

Premiums are paid to LIC or the insurer through its official channels, such as its website and app, a branch or an authorised centre. Selvakumar will show you how and remind you before each due date.

Can I change my mind after buying?

Most life and health policies include a free-look period, usually 15 days from receiving the policy document. During that time you can review the terms and return the policy if it does not suit you.

Will a health policy cover existing conditions?

Usually only after a waiting period. The length differs by plan, so check it before you buy and disclose your health history honestly on the proposal.

How much life cover do I need?

A common starting point is a sum that replaces your family's income for many years and clears any loans. Selvakumar will work out a figure with you based on your situation.

Is there a charge for advice?

No. Advice and quotes are free. If you would like to know how an agent is paid, ask Selvakumar and he will explain.
